ASM Microbe is where the brightest minds in microbiology converge, offering biotech companies a chance to demo their products. Surrounded by a sea of neutral, monochromatic medical devices, we knew we had to stand out and demonstrate that, as a start-up, we were here and ready to play.
Our vibrant booth was hard to miss—it was the first thing people saw when they walked into the conference, especially since our branding was already on their lanyards. Once inside, we created an experience for our audience, offering a full-service espresso bar, the only one at the conference, as well as a lounge with games that offered them a moment to "slow down" and "take a beat" cleverly playing off the anthesis of speed, a value prop.
After recharging, they could take some goodies with them on the road, like branded water bottles to beat the Atlanta heat, microbiology-themed pins that tied into Father's Day weekend (when the conference took place), temporary tattoos, and our branded coffee cups, ensuring Selux was something they’d remember long after the coffee wore off.
